How to change country in Clash of Clans

After the weekend, I can see that many players have been looking for a way to change the country for Global Chat and Top Players in Clash of Clans. This is not a new question but there are not much people know it.

Firstly, you need to know how the IP system in Clash of Clans works. Supercell sets your global chat and local leader board in game based on the IP adress which you used the first time to create your Clash of Clans account (when you was on your vacation in another country, etc).
To change your country in Clash of Clans:
  1. If you aren’t in your country now, you can use VPN/Proxy app such as OpenVPN Connect, Hotspot Shield,… to change your current IP to your correct country. Then open Clash of Clans. If it still doesn’t change, you should you to step 2.
